We've had the opportunities to live in many wonderful places while David was in the Marine Corps. When he retired after 23+ years in service, we moved back to Milton in 2005. His present job allows us to continue traveling.

Over the years I have had the opportunity to work in several different areas; daycare, waitress, insurance coding, medical secretary, church secretary, church music librarian, but my favorite was working in a stained glass studio in Monterey, CA. We've completed an addition our home here and I now have a dedicated space to work on glass.

The other job that I presently have is "cat herder". David says there is an invisible sign over our home like the swordfish to Pensacola Beach, only it's a cat pointing to our house. Strays just seem to know where to go for food, medical care and just a little TLC.

As much as I like to rag my brother-in-law, Dan Hamel, about hanging around together for senior trip, it was actually a really fun time. Also, play production was full of good memories. Going to football games and walking to the dances at Rhodes afterward. And hanging out with my BFF, Diane. She is still just a nutty today as she was then.
