James Martin Robey

Worked at Air Products in Pace for 29 years. Married to Jo Ellen Davis (Worthy) from Selma Al. We have three wonderful children and 6 grand children. All live here except A.J. and Elijah.

July 2, 2008 My life, as I was used to, changed. I hurt my back doing something very routine. While doing scans of my back the doctors saw some very unusual areas in my spine and skelital mass. I was diognosed with Multiple Myeloma (bone marrow cancer) Also found in the scans was a spot on my right kidney which was diognosed as kindney cancer (renal cell carcinoma) I am fortunate that before this happened my life had an other big change. I knew, loved and trusted our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The peace and comfort He provides kept Me strong, knowing He is in total control. An other blessing happened about two weeks after our 30 year reunion. My prayers were answered when I met Jo. She truly loves the Lord and it is awesome to be equally yolked. Remember all the times spent with Don Spencer, Billy Spencer, Jeff Thompson, Jeff Rolo, and the Fudd Guys. So many good memories. Many people I have talked to in the past have stated how the best day of their life was when they left Milton. I disagree, I love milton and am very happy I stayed here.
